Hello everyone! I hope all of you are doing well, along with your families. I apologize for my long absence from posting to my blog. With everything going on due to the coronavirus and the lock-down measures put in place, I haven’t been able to travel around and enjoy adventures in Akita. But now, with Akita opening up, and things getting better, I can start enjoying all that Akita has to offer again!
This past weekend, I went to Odate to go hiking. What a beautiful area! Odate has lush forests, crystal clear rivers, and an abundance of hiking trails throughout the area. Goshiki Lake is a gorgeous place with a very large park nearby where you can enjoy a nice picnic. Another perk to traveling the Odate area is the picturesque rice fields dotting the landscape. I will definitely return to explore even more! But for now, the BES Adventurer must get back on the road and start enjoying the summer days to come!
